As awesome as everything that Google does is, I'm not sure that challenging Wikipedia is the best idea. There's not much more engrained into the internet than Wikipedia, except maybe Google, so that should be interesting.
OpenOffice becoming a web app is genius. Hopefully it won't lag nearly as bad on my mac.
Danger: Avoid Death is a great article and should obviously disprove the article claiming tha thumans are evolving faster ;)
I agree completely on the GooglePedia idea. It will be interesting to see their take on something that has such a huge presence on the web.
The only downside on the OpenOffice that I've read is that it doesn't really support collaboration. So, if you wanted to share something (like you did on Google Docs), it wouldn't work out so well.
Avoid death at all costs... :)
